How do I edit notes in documents within folders?

You can edit any notes you have added to documents stored in work folders. To edit a note, follow these steps.

  1. Open the folder containing the document in which you want to edit a note as follows:
    • On the Lexis Advance Pacific home page, select the folder from the Folders pod; or,
    • At the top of any page, select the More button, select Folders from the list that appears, and select the folder from the My Folders page.
  2. Open the document in which you want to edit a note and select the View all notes link at the top of the document.
  3. In the Document Notes section, select the Edit button below the note you want to edit.
  4. In the Edit Notes dialogue box, add, change or delete any of the existing note text. Make sure the finished note does not exceed 4000 characters.
  5. Select the Save button.
