How do I send my results or documents to Dropbox?

Lexis Advance® Pacific allows you to send either documents you have open, or selected documents from a results list, to Dropbox, which is a third-party cloud storage application. (If you do not have a Dropbox account, visit www.dropbox.com to create a free account, or take a Dropbox tour.)

To do this:

  1. Choose whether you want to send a single document to Dropbox, or send the results list:
    OptionDescription
To send results list items to DropboxWhile viewing your results list, select the specific results you want to send to Dropbox, or don't select anything to send 250 results from the first 1,000 in your list.
Tip: Once you've selected results, you can clear all of them at once by clicking the delivery count drop-down list. This displays a list of all the documents you've selected. You can then click the Clear All button in the upper-right corner of the list.
Note: Public Records delivers up to 200 consecutive as well as non-consecutive items; not 250.
To send a single document to DropboxWhile viewing the results list, open the specific document you want to send.
  2. Choose whether to send your selections to Dropbox immediately (using your last-used Dropbox settings), or to select new Dropbox settings before completing the delivery:
    OptionDescription

To select new Dropbox settings before delivery Click the Settings icon (Delivery Settings) next to the Send to Dropbox icon (Send to Dropbox) and provide the required information on the Send to Dropbox dialog box.
