Note: If you use both Lexis Advance Pacific and LexisNexis® Practical Guidance, the Pacific Research or
LexisNexis® Practical Guidance filter is automatically applied, depending on the application from which you accessed the
alerts list. If you retain this filter, the Originated In sub-filter (see below) does not appear.Search Within Alerts Use this search box to narrow your list to only alerts containing the search terms you enter. After you filter your list with
one or more search terms, the search terms appear below the Narrow By heading in the left pane, and
the filtered list of alerts appears in the right pane.
Note: When these searches contain multiple terms, Lexis Advance Pacific returns only alerts containing all
of the entered terms.To clear this search, select Clear search at the top of the alerts list.
Type, Originated In, Matter, Delivery Type, Frequency, Sharing You can also filter your alerts list by type, origin (i.e., Pacific Research or Practical Guidance), matter, delivery type, frequency, and sharing.
To select a filter, simply select it. The selected filter appears below the Narrow By heading in the left pane, and the filtered list
appears in the right pane. To select multiple filters of the same type, select Select multiple . A box appears listing the available
filters. Select the filters you want and select Ok . The selected filters appear below the Narrow By heading
in the left pane, and the filtered list appears in the right pane.
Note: Lexis Advance Pacific and LexisNexis® Practical Guidance process multiple filters of the same type by returning all alerts associated
with any of the selected filters.To clear any additional filters you have applied, select the filter's name. To clear all filters, select Clear All .
Select this to select an item or items in order to take the actions identified by the toolbar icons and/or the options that appear on
the More actions list.
When the checkbox at the top of the list is clear, select it to select all items on the current page. When it is selected, select it to clear all
selected items on the page. When the checkbox next to a given item is clear, select it to select the item. When it is selected, select it to clear the selection of the item. Select to restart the selected alerts that are currently paused.
Select to temporarily stop (pause) the selected alerts that are currently running.
Select to delete the selected alerts.
Select this to display the following list of additional actions you can take related to selected alerts.
Mark results as read Select to mark all the results of the selected alerts as having been read. Delete alerts results Select to delete all the results of the selected results. Printer-friendly view Select to open a separate browser window or tab containing the currently displayed page of alerts, formatted to fit properly within
the margins of standard printed pages. After the printer-friendly view appears, you can select the Print button
to print the contents of the window or tab.
Important: This option shows only the currently displayed page of the alerts list. If you want to print a list that is longer
than one page (when displayed on the computer), you will need to display each page you want to print and select this option on each
of those pages.Sort by By default, alerts are listed in alphabetical order by alert title. Select an option from this list to sort the alerts in a different order.
Identifies the number of the page that is currently displayed. Select a different page number to display that page or select the right or
left arrow to display the previous or next page.
