How do I create a list of people?

Use the Create a List of People search form to generate a list of executives that match the criteria you specify.

  1. Click the Create a List tab.
  2. Click the People option.
  3. Use the fields on the form to describe the executives you are interested in. For example, if you want to create a contact list of Directors in the hotel industry whose companies have revenue of more than $100,000,000:
    • Select Director in the Function drop-down list.
    • Enter 701 (The SIC code for Hotels and Motels) in the SIC Code box.
      Tip: Click the SIC Lookup or NAICS Lookup links to find an industry code.
    • Select 100,000,000 in the Sales/Revenue > Above drop-down list.
  4. Click Create. The system reports the number of executives that match your criteria and displays a preview of top 10.
  5. If you are satisfied with the number and type of results, click Next: Customize List. Otherwise, click Edit Search to change your search criteria.
  6. Select the executive attributes (e.g., function , specialty, address, and telephone number) that you want to appear in your final list, then click Update Executive List.
  7. Browse your final executive list results and click Download Selected Items to save a copy that can be opened in a spreadsheet program.
    Tip: If you don't want to download all of the items in your list, select the checkboxes next to the items that you want before clicking Download Selected Items.
