Select a Specific Source for a Search

  1. On the Nexis® home page, select Sources at the top of the page.
  2. Do one of the following:
    To... Do This
    Search for a source Enter the name (or part of a name) of a source under Search Within Sources in the left pane, then select the search icon (Search).
    Browse through all sources alphabetically Use the alphabetical listing to find the source you want.
    Filter the list of sources Select options from any of the Narrow By groups. For example, to filter sources to a specific jurisdiction, select that jurisdiction from that group.
    Learn more about a particular source Select the information icon (Source Information) on the right side of the pane to display information about the selected source. Information might include publisher, coverage, frequency, update schedule and description.
  3. When you see the source you want to use, select it.
  4. From the menu that appears, select Add source as a search filter.

    Note: If you want, you can add all of the sources to your filter list by selecting the Add All These as Search Filters button at the top right of the sources list. (See Search Using Multiple Sources.)

The source name is added to the Filters list in the search bar at the top of the page.
