This tutorial module explains how to save sources within Nexis to meet your own search requirements.

Sometimes it is useful to create your own personalised source lists of either the groups of publications or singular sources that you use most frequently. From the Power Search page there is a direct link to create your own groups, but you can also start the process by selecting the Sources library page. Once within the sources library you can either browse for publications that may be of use or type the name directly into the find field. For example it is useful for me to be able to search for UK Broadsheets and Lifestyle publications in one group.

Once you have tagged the publications they will be added to your personal tray on the right hand side of the screen. To save the selection as one of your 50 favourites, add a name for your selected group and tag the Save as favourite’s box. This group of sources will now be saved in the sources menu on the general search page.
