How do I edit my search?

When reviewing your search results, you may determine that changing your search terms or any other parameters would yield better results. To do so, perform these steps.

New Results

  1. Submit your search request and review your results.
  2. Enter the desired search terms in the Results for text box.
  3. Click on the magnifying glass icon to run the new search.
Classic Results
  1. Submit your search request and review your results.
  2. Select an option from the Next Steps drop-down list:
    • Select Edit Search if you want to edit your terms, sources, date range, etc.
    • Select New Search if you want to start a completely new search from the same form.
    • If you're in Full Text view, select Search Source to start a new search using the source for the current document.
  3. Click on the Go button.
