How do I save a filter as a favorite?

When you make selections from the Narrow By filters or Explore Content to narrow your search, they are added to the Recent & and Favorites pod, along with favorite sources and topics. To save a filter to the Favorites pod on the Lexis Advance® home page, follow the steps below.

  1. On the search form, select Search: Everything.
  2. Select Recent & Favorites from the pane on the left.
  3. Click the star (Save as favorite filter) next to the filter you want to save as a favorite. The star turns yellow (Favorite filter) to indicate that the filter has been saved as a favorite.
  4. To remove the filter from your favorites, select the Favorite next to it.

Favorite filters are saved in the list until you remove them.

To save a filter to be used in future sessions, select Settings from the More drop-down list at the top of the page, then select Lexis Advance® Research from the options on the left. Select Retain search filters for future sessions.
