How do I view my documents using Lexis® Search Advantage?

Note: Lexis® Search Advantage is available by subscription. Please contact your sales representative if you'd like more information.

Once you have searched for and found a document from your organization's repository, you can view the document in Lexis® Search Advantage. This allows you to view the document text while still having access to Search Advantage features, such as About This Document and delivery options. (See How do I view my organization's documents in their native format? for instructions on directly opening the document in its native program, such as Adobe or Microsoft Word.)

To do this:

  1. Complete your Lexis search.
  2. View just those documents from your organization.
  3. Click View in Search Advantage, below the document title. The document is opened in a new Search Advantage tab in your browser. You are no longer working directly in Lexis.
  4. Use the different features available in Search Advantage to work with the document.
