How do I view the ways an attorney has been involved in various cases using LexisNexis® Litigation Profile Suite?

While viewing a particular attorney using LexisNexis® Litigation Profile Suite, you can view the different ways he or she has been involved with various cases. For example, you can view the attorney's case docket, categorized by party, jurisdiction, and so forth. You can also view verdicts and settlements, case opinions, and agency decisions (both federal and state), just to name a few.

Note: While viewing the different sections of the Practice History page, you can filter your search results to further refine the information you are viewing.

To view an attorney's practice history:

  1. Complete your search for an attorney. (Search either by name or by location.)
  2. At the search results page, select the attorney's name. That attorney's report is opened.
  3. In the Practice History section in the left pane, select the option you want to explore:
    To...Do This
    View charts or graphs that describes the attorney's involvement in various casesSelect Dockets.
    View charts or graphs that describes how cases the attorney worked on were resolvedSelect Jury Verdicts & Settlements.
    View cases the attorney has been involved withSelect Cases.
    View administrative documents associated with the attorneySelect Administrative Materials.
    View briefs, pleadings, and motions associated with the attorneySelect Briefs, Pleadings, and Motions.
    View sets of jury instructions with which the attorney is associatedSelect Jury Instructions.
    View analytical details about cases from an expert witness's point of viewSelect Expert Witness Analysis.
  4. Once the results for the Practice History category you want to view appear, select the link for the specific document you want to view. The document appears for you to view.
