How do I search for a specific judge using LexisNexis® Litigation Profile Suite?

Using LexisNexis® Litigation Profile Suite, you can search for professional information about judges. Types of information you might discover include a list of cases with which the judge was involved as well as news stories about the judge.

To search for a judge:

  1. At the search form, choose Judge from the drop-down list to the left of the search field.
  2. Type the name of the judge for which you want to search in the search field.
    Tip:
    • As you type the name, a list of possible matches appears. If the name you are searching for appears in the list, you can select it and the full name will be added to the Search box.
    • If you don't know the name of the judge, you can search based on jurisdiction only.
  3. Optionally, select the Filters drop-down list and then select a jurisdiction from the Jurisdiction list.
  4. Click Search. Litigation Profile Suite searches the LexisNexis® databases for judges that meet your search criteria. It then displays any results that are found. (See Understanding Overall Search Results for LexisNexis® Litigation Profile Suite for details.)
