How do I select my professors in LexisNexis® Interactive Citation Workstation?

Lexis Advance® Settings allow you to select the professors who will receive your exercise results, and with whom you will work. Follow these steps.

  1. At the bottom of the Professor Settings pod on your LexisNexis® Interactive Citation Workstation home page, click Edit Professor Settings. Interactive Citation Workstation takes you to the Citation Exercises tab on the Settings page.
  2. In the field, begin typing the name of the professor you want to add. A list of names that begin with the letters you've typed appears. The list changes as you type.
    Note: You can only have ten professors assigned at a given time. If more than nine names appear in the Added Professors box, you need to remove one by clicking X icon to the right of a professor's name before you add a new one.
  3. From the list, select the name of the professor you want to add. The full name of the selected professor appears in the field, and the list disappears.
  4. Click the Add button. The professor's name moves to the Added Professors box.
    Note: The new professor will be the added to the list as a Secondary professor. To promote the new professor to Primary, select Primary to the left of the professor's name.
