How do I edit an alert?

You can use the Alerts List page to edit all properties of an alert, including its title, assigned client ID, content types to monitor, frequency, duration, notification options, and so on.

To edit the properties of an alert, follow these steps.

  1. Display the Alerts List page by selecting View all alerts at the bottom of the Alerts pod on the home page or by selecting the More button at the top of any page and selecting Alerts from the list that appears.
  2. On the Alerts List page, find the alert whose properties you want to edit by using the Search Within Alerts option in the left pane and/or by selecting options from within the Type, Client, Delivery Type, and Frequency filters.
  3. Select the Edit icon (Edit) below the title of the alert you want to edit. The Search Alert (Edit) dialogue box appears.
  4. In the Search Alert (Edit) dialogue box, make any needed changes to the alert properties. For more information, see Search Alert (edit) dialogue box.
  5. Select the Save button.
