Compare Search Results or Find Similar Documents Alert Page

When you use the Compare Search Results or Find Similar Results feature from the research map, then select Create an alert from the results, use this form to create an alert to run the search on a schedule you set up.

Overview tab
Title
Give the alert a name that you will use later to retrieve it.
Description
Enter a description you want to associate with the alert.
Search terms
Displays the search terms you used.
Client
Either select Recent client and choose a client you've recently used from the drop-down list, or select New client to enter the name of a new client.
Monitor tab
Category
Indicates which content types the alert will monitor for new documents. The content types displayed are the ones you selected when you searched, plus your Narrow By items from your results.
Deliver tab
Duration
Enter dates in the Start and End boxes (or select from the calendars) to indicate how long you want this alert to run.
Delivery Type
You can choose online-only delivery or online and email delivery. If you select email, enter your Email address and in the Delivery format group, choose whether you want the email to be delivered in HTML or text format.
Frequency

Select how often you want to be notified of any results.

Tip: Between notifications, you can go online at any time to view your results.
Daily
Each day of the week.
Business Daily
Each day from Monday through Friday.
Weekly
Once a week, on the day you select.
Monthly
Once a month, on the date you select. If the date doesn't occur in a certain month, you will receive notification of any results on the first day of the following month. For example, if you select 30, you will be notified on March 1, because there is no 30th day in February.
Share
Enter a user's name (using the format of last name, first name), or enter the user's email address.
To share the alert with other users in your organization, type the user's first name or last name. The alert will be shared immediately with him or her. To share the alert with users who are not part of your organization, type the user's email address. Outside recipients will need to accept the invitation to view the alert.
Added Contacts
The list of users with whom you have shared this alert.
Note
Enter a personal note you want to associate with the alert.
