How do I control who can invite me to connect?

To build connections within the® Connected network, members must invite other members to connect. If you choose, you can make sure you receive invitations from only those who know your work email address. This can help ensure you are connecting with only people who know you.

Additionally, you can choose to be notified by email when others have requested to connect with you. Otherwise, you will only be notified when you sign in to Connected.

To control how others invite you to connect:

  1. Click the Settings drop-down arrow (), located just below the main Connected toolbar.
  2. Choose Notification Settings from the list of options. The Notification Settings page appears.
  3. In the Invitations box, select your preferences.
  4. Click Save to save your changes.
