What is LexisNexis® Lead Alert mobile application?

LexisNexis® Lead Alert is a free application that allows instant delivery of leads to your mobile device, allowing you to respond to potential clients wherever you are.

Who can use the LexisNexis® Lead Alert application?

This application is available to select U.S. customers of LexisNexis® Law Firm Marketing Solutions, including Profiles on Lawyers.comSM and martindale.com®. The service requires LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell® Client Service Center (CSC) access. To find out about how to become a qualifying customer, call 1-888-365-1343 or click contact us.

The application is compatible with:

  • Apple® iPhone®, iPod touch®, and iPad®, and it requires iOS 4.3 or later.
  • Android 2.2, 2.3, and 4.x platforms

How do I get access to the LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell® Client Service Center (CSC) so that I can take advantage of the LexisNexis® Lead Alert Application?

If a member of your firm has access to the CSC, they can easily grant you access by adding you as an administrator using the following steps:

  1. Log in to the CSC.
  2. Choose Manager Users from the Tools drop-down list in the main navigation.
  3. Click Add Admin User.
  4. Fill in the form, then click Save. Note: Once added as a user, you will be sent a temporary password by email.
  5. You can then activate your account in the CSC and create a new password.
  6. As soon as your account is active, you can download and access the LexisNexis® Lead Alert application.

If you or a member of your firm does not have access to the CSC, an account can be requested using the followings steps:

  1. Contact LexisNexis Customer Support at 1-800-526-4902, option 2 to request a CSC account.
  2. Once an account is established, you will be sent a temporary password by email.
  3. You can then activate your account in the CSC and create a new password.
  4. As soon as your account is active, you can then download and access the LexisNexis® Lead Alert application.

How does LexisNexis® Lead Alert interface with Law Firm Leads Manager within the LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell® Client Service Center (CSC)?

The information displayed in LexisNexis® Lead Alert is the same information available in Law Firm Leads Manager within the CSC under the Tools menu in the main navigation.

Actions taken on LexisNexis® Lead Alert mobile application do not impact the lead information displayed in Law Firm Leads Manager.

How many leads can be stored in the LexisNexis® Lead Alert application?

Up to 100 leads can be stored. Leads older than 6 months or in excess of 100 will be purged from the application.

The lead information will always be available within Law Firm Leads Manager in the CSC.

Are there settings that can be changed for the LexisNexis® Lead Alert?

Yes, you can access and modify settings from your mobile device.

Settings include:

  • Send Email From: Control the email address used and displayed when forwarding or responding to email leads
  • Always BCC Myself: Control whether or not you want to automatically receive a copy any of the lead-related emails you send

Can I filter my leads within LexisNexis® Lead Alert?

Yes, leads can be filtered by:

  • Pending: Leads not yet responded to
  • Replied: Leads replied to
  • Forwarded: Leads forwarded
  • All: All leads from the above categories

Can I access leads that I have deleted from LexisNexis® Lead Alert?

Leads that have been deleted from LexisNexis® Lead Alert are no longer available within the application.

However, the lead details will remain accessible within the LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell Client Service Center (CSC).
